Overall, there’s slightly less emphasis on stealth encounters this time than in either Spider-Man or Miles Morales. As someone who found the stealth action of the previous games a little simplistic and routine, this new, louder approach is welcome. The anticipation for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 paid off as a fantastic sequel to an already-great game, and this title quickly became one of the most beloved PlayStation titles of all time.

 

Not only did they come back, but they’re actively worse this time around. Meaning both elite-level world class hunters and alien monsters that two superpowered Spider-Men struggle against are done in by a reporter with a stun gun. It takes a very long time for Venom to show up, some would say too long, but he steals the show the second he does. Everything he does is intimidating, and you feel the power behind every movement.
